USA Softball of MA State Championship Notes

  1. The format for the USA Softball MA State Championships will now be 2 pool play games (no new inning after 1 hour 30 minutes leading into a double elimination bracket.
  2. All teams MUST be ready to play as early as 12 noon on Friday should circumstances dictate. Since this is an USA Softball Championship Play Event, all teams must be drawn equally. DO NOT ASK NOT TO PLAY FRIDAY AS THIS REQUEST WILL BE DENIED.
  3. The Massachusetts JO Staff reserves the right to modify this format if necessary. 
  4. Unless otherwise noted all 2020 USA Softball Rules will be followed.

Bench Coach Requirements

  1. MUST have at least one coach who is ACE certified
  2. All other adult bench personnel MUST have completed the USA Softball National Background check & be SAFESPORT Approved PRIOR to their entry being accepted for USA Softball of MA & other USA Softball Championship Play events.
